In a nutshell, developmental editing is about understanding what your manuscript wants to say and what it wants to achieve, then creating a clear path towards that.

Each Summer Manuscript Makeover includes:

• A full developmental edit of your manuscript via margin comments
• A comprehensive editorial report with actionable feedback
• A 60-minute revision strategy session
• Feedback on one revised chapter after you’ve begun revisions
• Query letter feedback (optional if you aren’t ready to query yet)

Together, these elements are designed to help you move from finished draft toward a polished final product, with support at every stage of the process.

Investment

Most Summer Manuscript Makeover projects range between €1,000–€1,500, depending on manuscript length and requirements.

Deadline

Bookings close when spaces are filled up, or on the 31st August (otherwise known as the end of summer 🥹).
